Despite our crazy schedules with Chris and I trying to juggle a full-time photography business and my part-time (who am I kidding, nearly full-time) coordinator role at MUSC, and Chris's teaching and coaching -- the beautiful side to our jobs is our flexibility allowing us to participate in school activities with our boys.
I loved this visit with Lucas's second grade class to the Charleston Tea Plantation. The March weather was gorgeous and who knew that this is the ONLY tea plantation on the entire continent of North America or that some tea plants have been documented to be hundreds of years old?! I don't know about the second graders, but I was telling everyone facts about tea that I learned that day. I seriously suggest you go visit this little Charleston gem!
